SO basically, it's a selfie project where this person took a bunch of photos of himself and start selling at OS (Opensea) and apparently (surprisingly) some people are buying and it’s actually kinda booming today.
As of today (Jan 13th), it has a total traded volume at 307 ETH.
IMHO, i think people are betting on this project for 2 things
1.
hype: this guy took initiative in selfie NFT, media/people will share this fund-raising story with a title of “this guy made $1M NFTfiying his selfie”.
2.
human capital: this guy took initiative in selfie NFT and raised some funding. With this money he might actually do something creative with concrete roadmap as a next step and maybe he will give premium benefit for these Genesis NFT holders
